Interesting oil painting on canvas, probably a sketch for an altarpiece, depicting a scene with the major representatives of the Jesuit order adoring the infant Jesus in his glory, within a carved and gilded wood frame with stucco work.

The saints depicted are from left to right standing: St. Stanislaus Kotska, St. Ignatius of Loyola, Pierre Favre, 3 Holy Martyrs of Japan (St. Paul Miki, St. John Soan of Goto, St. James Kisai); kneeling: St. Francis Borgia, St. Louis Gonzaga, St. Francis Xavier.
