A fine georgian "carnicina" agate hardstone cameo representing the profile of a woman facing left wearing a floral wreath, most possibly the goddess "Flora".

Mounted in a 1860 circa French 18kt gold tested locket with engraved the letters S. O. on the back of it.

Dimensions of the cameo cm 2,3 x 1,8 - with the mounting cm 4,4 x 2,1.

Perfect conditions commensurate with age.
