A fine round micromosaic plaque set on copper representing a rooster and a hen on a dark blue background, mounted on the cover of a hardstone and gold mounted snuff box.

Rome late 18th early 19th century, 1790/1800 circa in the manner or circle of Giacomo Raffaelli.

Dimensions cm 6,5 for the micromosaic - 7,2 x 2 the snuff box.

Excellent condition commensurate with age and use.
