Unusual micromosaic set on copper representing on a dark blue background with a red border in the center, inscribed in a circle, the Pyramid of Caius Cestius in Rome, over and under it, two butterflies. Mounted as a ring in yellow gold.

Possibly by Giacomo Raffaelli or his workshop, Rome late 18th cent. 1790 circa.
